But you got the top three right, though not necessarily in the right order... With presience like that, perhaps you should be working for the Met Office. Ivan Basso won the Giro in 2006 (not 2007) and was the #1 favorite to win the 2006 tour de france (not 2007).  He was suspended the day before the Prologue due to alleged involvement in OP.   

Basso just raced the Giro finishing 5th and subsequently raced a few stages at thd Dauphine Libere but abandoned due to fever/stomach problem.

He does not plan to ride this year&#039;s tour de france.  His next major race will be the Vuelta in the fall.</description>
