In recent months we’ve shared videos by Roberto Peixoto of cycling in the Loire Valley and Tuscany. This month Dordogne gets the treatment.
The Dordogne is where The Chain Gang started, way back in 1997. What I really like about this video is that it’s obvious how relaxed everyone is. 30 miles is 30 miles, but you can get there fast or slow, and the people in this video are clearly not very worried about racing!
I also liked the sense of deserted country roads and how green everything is, as well as a very chilled-out section canoeing down my favourite river.
I’ll post another of Roberto’s videos next month, but they’re already available on The Chain Gang YouTube channel. Just click here to enjoy all of them
How I wish I was on an A380, on my way to France to join another Chaingang tour!!! I loved this video and it certainly brought back many very happy memories. Thanks for sharing.
Dear Brian,
All songs are by Mat Kearney: “All I Have”, “Runaway” and “City of Black and White”.
Cheers…
